The Longer Story
My journey in music started when I was learning saxophone in the 5th grade. Within a few years I found myself consumed by the possibilities of music, gravitating strongly towards bass and low-brass instruments. Upon graduating high school I then went on to attend college at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where I obtained a B.S. in Civil Engineering. While at NJIT, I played in the college's wind ensemble under the esteemed New Jersey music educator Nick Santoro. About that time was when I started playing in the function band Aftershock, which was comprised of members of my high school jazz band.
